Christian Schubert – Founder & Himalaya Expert
With over 30 years of experience in trekking, mountaineering, and expedition leadership, Christian is the visionary behind Berghorizonte. He has spent a total of five years in the Himalayas and visited Nepal 32 times. His profound knowledge of the region, personal consultation, and commitment to sustainable travel shape every tour we offer.

Nirmala Gurung
Nirmala loves the amazing work environment at Berghorizonte. When not at work, she’s busy hiking and trekking. Fun fact: she’s an international Taekwondo player and instructor! She spends her free time teaching Taekwondo with her son. Her life motto is: “The essence of my life is freedom and independence.”
Nimte Sherpa
Nimte loves adventure and can never stay still! Thriving in the organized systems at Berghorizonte, he enjoys engaging with others and counts himself a proud FC Barcelona fan. Always on the move, Nimte adds an adventurous spirit to the team.
Purna Singh Tamang
Purna is a guide, working for Berghorizonte for years. He normally leades English Groups, FIT and mountain groups as well.
Pasang Rinji Sherpa
Pasang is Berghorizotne's english speaking trek leader. He is from the Everest region.
Sange Sherpa
Sange is the mountain guide who has been leading groups for Berghorizonte for almost 20 years. He comes from the Makalu region and is berghorizonte's longest-serving tour guide.
Nale Gurung
Nale Gurung is from Gorkha and he is also working as a french and english speaking leader with us.
Pasang Temba
Pasang is an english speaking trek leader and is working with Berghorizonte.
Navaraj Poudel
Navaraj is a french speaking leader here. He also conducts sightseeing tours in the city as well.

Michael is our partner relations representative, based in Nepal.
Srishti Lama
A creative soul with a passion for art and entertainment, Srishti loves expressing herself through drawing and exploring new worlds through music, movies, and series. Fun fact: She learned basic Korean watching Korean series. Her motto? “Believe in yourself.
Manisha Shrestha
Starting her first job at Berghorizonte, Manisha is grateful for the cooperative team that makes her experience even better. When she’s not sketching, she’s busy writing poems and adapting effortlessly to any situation. Her belief? “Everything happens for something to be done”—a creative at heart with an open mind!
Kumar Rai
Kumar is all about teamwork and thrives in the supportive environment at Berghorizonte. A die-hard Neymar fan and Real Madrid enthusiast, you’ll often find him quietly enjoying music in his downtime. His motto? “Life should be adventurous and charming”!
Sagrit Ranabhat
Sagrit is an english speaking trekking guide, who has been working with Berghorizonte for 5-6 years. He leads Shinta Mani groups in Mustang and all english speaking customers.
Raju Sharma
With Berghorizonte since 2009, Raju is someone who lives by the motto “enjoy every moment,” whether he’s at work or in his free time. His go-with-the-flow attitude keeps things light, and you’ll often find him listening to his favorite tunes or planning his next travel adventure. As a dedicated football fan, he’s all about Barcelona, but when it comes to life, it’s “work hard, play harder” for Raju.
Govinda Basnet
Govinda is in charge of the Berghorizonte Store. He 's been working with Berghorizonte since 2010 and is from Solukhumbu. He is looking after all the ground group transporations and movements for all Berghorizonte groups.
Umesh Shrestha
With Berghorizonte since 2005, Umesh loves the work environment. A former cricket player for a local club, he still loves the game and is a huge fan of West Indies cricket team.
Rama Adhikari
Miss Rama Adhikari- is working at Berghorizonte as a senior account officer. She is from Ramechhap. She has done her Master's Degree. She has joint Berghorizonte in 2024. Rama loves the positive work environment. When not at work, she enjoys singing and learning new skills like classical dance!
Ramesh Pandit
Ramesh has been at Berghorizonte for eight years and enjoys the family-like atmosphere. His hidden talent is football, but what everyone loves most is his sense of humor. He’s all about making people laugh, and he’s an Arsenal fan.
Bibek Dhakal
Bibek is an accounts officer, who supports the financial related tasks, at our account department.
Sancharam Tamang
Sancharam Taamang is one of the senior guide in Berghorizonte and leads all European english speaking groups.
Umesh Rai
Umesh is from Solukhumbu and has been working with Berghorizonte for 10 years. He is leading english speaking groups and mountain groups as well.
Rajendra Thapa
Rajendra is in charge of permits. A seasoned professional with over two decades of experience at Berghorizonte, Rajendra is an open book, always ready to share his knowledge and insights. A history buff with a passion for folk music, he brings a unique perspective and a wealth of experience to the table.
